License to stay put?
I had no right to be driving a car today. Over the course of the day, I almost got hit twice (because I accidentally cut two people off), I was flagged down by a cop on a sidewalk because I was driving too fast (He asked whether or not there was something wrong with my speedometer), I drove about 2 miles with my emergency break on, and I had various other potential hazards cross my path. Vixen and I had a few laughs about it, but I'm really just happy that I made it home safely. I haven't been driving all that long given my age, and sometimes I still wish that I didn't. All things car related really don't seem to be my forte. Ever since my tire incident, I've been completely paranoid about them. I even went out and purchased a semi-expensive electronic gadget that is supposed to read my tire pressure. I can't seem to use it without the air escaping my tires in the process.
Seriously, when are the cars that drive themselves coming out? Shouldn't we be living like the Jetsons by now? If we can make movies about it, why can't we make the real thing? Someone with a technically inclined brain should get on that. In the meantime, I'll try to keep others and myself on the road safe!
