It's time for me to come out of posting hibernation.
I was really looking forward to taking a break from the novel I was reading for class to watch my favorite show, Grey's Anatomy, but to my consternation, it was a repeat.
Boo.
Anyhow, I've been dividing most of my time between home, FP, and school. Last week was hellish because I had two presentations and a paper weighing me down. I was sleep-deprived and grumpy, which doesn't make for very interesting posts.
It's about this time in the semester when I want to channel the character from that stellar show in the 80s, Out of this World, and put my two index fingers together to promptly stop time. What is it about being stressed out that makes me start thinking about all the other things that I haven't been doing? Like going through the massive stack of mail I have, finding someone to sublet my room this summer, applying to more jobs, or contacting family members that I haven't spoken to in months. These are the things that I think about when I'm trying to fall asleep.
Sigh.
But I did take the time to rearrange and clean my room today. It's cozy, and it makes me happy.
Coffee guy makes me happy too. Others have started to comment on our chumminess. My friend, Emo, who is an occasional patron of FP, said that Coffee guy is "rather flirtatious" with me. Emo is a self-proclaimed "good judge" of such things. He's also a guy, so I'm more apt to believe him. Emo also suggested that Coffee guy made up the gf. I wouldn't go that far, but I think I want to test the waters a bit more...maybe suggest an outing.
I have nothing all that exciting to report of this weekend. I spent most of it doing work at home or FP. I've been grading mediocre papers and reading Gilead. Gilead won the Pulitzer Prize, but I somehow still managed to dislike it. Eh. The big outing for the weekend was my trip to SuperCuts to get a haircut. I hadn't had it cut since July. I think I'm one of few females below the age of 40 to venture to SuperCuts, but I'll take my $20 haircut any day.
Okies. I'm losing steam.

Hee hee...your weekend sounds like mine, except minus FP because I have to write at home...
Is Greys Anatomy new this week!?
It's NOT new this week. I object.
