The update on the tire is that my uncle came over and tried to put my spare on for me, which was also flat. He called AAA and had the guy come out to put air in all of my tires, because they were all low. I guess leaving a car sitting in the cold for a few weeks isn't a good idea. Whoops. The tires seem to be okay now, but I'm guessing the one that was originally flat must have a slow leak somewhere and I'll have to get it looked at anyway. But yay for having a functional car.
I thought that when I got back to Boston I would buckle down and get back to work. Haha. Ha. Yes, I should know myself better than that. I've been a lazy ass around the apartment, watching lots and lots of Sex & the City with L. We're determined to finish the series before school starts back up (we started at the beginning sometime in September).
In other news, I had a coffee thing with a Craigslist guy yesterday. Let's call him film guy, because he happens to have a film degree. The conversation flowed easily enough, even though he was nervous. We walked out together, he made some awkward comments about feeling awkward, which only made it more awkward...and we talked about doing something another time. Today he asked me to join him for a movie and a walk around the mall in Burlington, but it took him almost an hour to finally ask me and by then he wanted me to be ready in "a few minutes." I said no. Dates are nice, but a gal needs more notice than that.
Last night I had a fabulous time out with my friends CK and E. We started out watching the Pats game at Common Ground, then had a beer at Our House, before moseying on down the street to Tonic for more drinks and dancing. I had too much to drink, but had a great time. I even had a guy pull me aside to tell me that he loved my hair. Ha; I hadn't heard that one before! But a compliment is a compliment.
Parting thought: I should not be left alone with chocolate.
